Yarkuwa Museum and Gallery

Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre has an Museum and Gallery space at 104 End Street, Deniliquin.
Visitors to the Yarkuwa Indigenous Knowledge Centre can access and learn about the Indigenous heritage of the Wamba Wamba and Perrepa Perrepa People.

The Centre hosts displays and records for visitors of:
  • Cultural heritage artifacts including stone and wooden tools and woven baskets
  • Wamba Wamba Language learning displays​
  • Local family information

The gallery space is regularly updated with new exhibitions of visiting and local art projects.


​ We also sell traditional Aboriginal-based items, foods, clothing and local Indigenous artwork.
