Vowels: Standard - 'i' as 'sit', 'e' as in 'pet', 'o' as in 'on' Variations - when 'a' is followed by a 'w' it is 'aou' dipthong as in 'owl', when 'a' is followed by 'y' and another vowel eg 'o' it is pronounced 'aiy' or 'i' as in 'ice'.
Consonant - 'ty' (palatal stop) - combine 't' and 'y' while tip and blade of tongue touches hard palate and stops the breath. (Note: 'tch' is close but different to 'ty'.) (Avoid the English 'tee' as in 'city'.)
